Meet The Advisors |

Deanna Steinhauser |
Deanna Steinhauser has a passion for working
with seniors. When she was 12 years old,
she first volunteered in a nursing home.
Since then, she graduated from Northern
Illinois University with a bachelors degree
in Health Administration. She has worked
in long term care for over 10 years, including
7 years with Sunrise Assisted Living and
almost 3 years as a Senior Living Advisor
with SelectCare. She grew up in the south
suburbs of Chicago and continues to live
in Tinley Park with her husband and young
daughter. She loves helping families simplify
the search for quality care and especially
enjoys improving seniors’ quality
of life. |

Joy Cornelius |
Joy Cornelius has volunteered with elderly
programs in a variety of capacities since
she was 18 years old. In 1998, she graduated
with a Master’s Degree in Gerontology
with emphases on Long-term Care Administration
and Rural Health from the University
of Utah in Salt Lake City. She has taken
her expertise as far as Thailand where
she worked at Burapha University and
assisted in various programs focused
on elder health or AIDS. In California,
she worked for a Program of All-Inclusive
Care for the Elderly to keep frail seniors
at home and was involved in a variety
of senior advocacy groups and boards.
Then, in Prescott, Arizona, she worked
with hundreds of families as an admission
counselor and community educator through
hospice. Now in Naperville, Illinois,
Joy has pursued her passion for seniors
through being a social worker at a skilled
nursing facility and now as a Senior
Living Advisor through SelectCare to
help families and seniors find their
way through the spectrum of care. |
